At last!
After all the effort and sweat (what a day for the air con to
break down!) we are now married, and there are already some pictures
available, that you can check clicking
here.
The most sincere thanks go to all of our relatives and friends
that shared that day with us, and also to those who couldn't make
it. You missed a town wrapped in posters of the bride and groom
(a message to the designers: forward them asap to upload them!)
, a delicious Chinese menu, a lot of dancing and karaoking, and
joy and fun, comme il faut.
And the amazing poem by Apuleyo Soto, read before the cake, that
you can recall by clicking here (not
yet translated, sorry).
Keep checking in for more to come!

Monday 2/6/2003:
Just about 4 days for the big date!! We can't deny that we're
a bit excited about all that's happening, and about the warm welcome
that our wedding has had among all of you, so we hope everything
will go the way we planned it (or if not, let improvisation do
its job!). Clear your throats cos there'll be karaoke session
in the party, together with the coolest tunes by a select group
of the best DJs.
There are a few seats left in the minibus, so if anyone is interested
and hasn't told us yet, please send
us an e-mail asap.
At last there's no other wedding coming after ours in the Town
hall, scheduled starting time will be 18:30 h. Obviously there's
no need for all of you to drive all the way to Guadalix de la
Sierra (some 50 kms), it will be a short civil ceremony lasting
about 15 minutes, what's important is that you don't miss the
restaurant, that's where the party takes place (those in charge
of video and photos do must come to Guadalix, ok?).
See you on saturday!

20/5/2003:
We are getting closer...
Despite everything seems under control, there
is always a last minute surprise, like some clumsy driving his
car through Gran Vía (de les Cortes Catalanes, not that
of Madrid) who decides to turn without checking that in the
next lane we were on our bike... Resulting in: the poor old
Suzuki getting fixed in the garage, and Julio two weeks off
work with ankle sprain, and a bunch of abrasions and contusions.
Fortunately enough, Jenny didn't hurt herself and the damages
are minimal compared to what could have been. So hopefully we'll
be complete and limp-free to attend that wedding everybody's
talking about...
It is also kind of funny that in one town hall
where just about 12 couples get married every year, the very
same day another couple decides to do so... So we kindly urge
all of you who plan to attend the ceremony, to be punctual,
since at 19 h there are others waiting and we are not invited
to that one...
We have added a brief story of the "double
happiness" character that appears in the invitations, chopsticks
and envelope. You can check it out in the page The
History.
Last but not least, we thank all the messages
that you have left in the Guestbook,
keep doing it coz we love that!
Monday 12/5/2003:
Almost all the invitations are mailed already! There are just
some left, for friends and relatives in Barcelona, and we'll
deliever those by hand. Less than a month for the Big day and
things are still like this...
To relieve those of you who worry about SARS,
there is nobody attending the wedding who is just coming from
China. All the Chinese people coming have been living in Spain
at least one year. And of course we are putting off our honey
moon trip til september or october.
As news, we have decided to arrange a minibus
from Plaza Castilla to Guadalix and back to the restaurant in
Madrid, for those of you interested in using this service. E-mail
us to book a seat.
We can also check for hotel rooms
near the restaurant, for those without acommodation in Madrid.
If interested, again e-mail
us.
And finally, thinking of you we have introduced
a new section to learn Chinese with
one click of the mouse. Never learning Chinese was so easy!
And that's all so far! See you soon!

Now you all know it... WE GET MARRIED!!!
D Day will fall on saturday,
7th june, and H Hour will be 18:30.
And as the invitations are coming late, we
are gonna introduce some tips for you to get safely to the ceremony
and celebration.

indications to get to the place of the ceremony, Guadalix de
la Sierra Town Hall, and to the restaurant where we'll celebrate
this peculiar event.
