Senderisme.com: what is it?

Hello friends

Welcome to Senderisme.com. SENDERISME means RAMBLING, TREKKING or WALKING in Catalan language. This site is a meeting point for walkers, trekkers, hikers and everybody who enjoy the pleasure to discover new places on foot.

At this site you can find many organizers (clubs, guides, companies). They give me the information, and I try to put it in order for you. You may find easy walks (2 hour tours) to complete hiking weekends or trekking holidays.

As this web site is local to Catalonia, Barcelona, and Balearic Islands - Spain, it is written in Catalan Language. I apologize for not been able to translate all information. But if you go down you will find a summary for every section of this site.

Who organize guided walks?

This is a list of selected trekking organizers

I know them personally, and I have enjoyed from morning walks to complete holidays with them. Groups are usually less than 20 people. You do no need a car, they may find space for you at any other car. Not all of them speak English, so if you need any help, please contact me.

What you may find at this site

Calendari

• Two months calendar / agenda with all organized and guided trekking tours in Catalonia. Also, some international trips leaving from Barcelona.

Directori

• A list of more than 25 groups and organizations. They offer guided walking tours. The list is split in different pages, depending of regional area. They are grouped in two main areas: SENDERISME (rambling / trekking) and PASSEJADES (walks).
• In Altres Activitats you may find other guided activities, as Cycling, Kayak and other sports.

• It's for you and from you: Photo Album, different articles related to walking and trekking, and a special corner for our friends.

El Portal
