BOOKS BY JESÚS RODRÍGUEZ RAMOS
(2005) Introducció a l'estudi de les inscripcions ibèriques published in the Revista de la Fundació Privada Catalana per a l'Arqueologia Ibèrica pp. 13-144 (Barcelona) (1).
This is a book which won the fist prize of the FPCPAI and has been published in its journal alongside
the second and third prizes. Unfortunately the printer made some very inconvenient mistakes and most of
the final updates (as the 'post scriptum' notes) and corrections were lost, but nonetheless this is a good
handbook on Iberian epigraphy and language.
See its index in Acrobat format.
(200) Análisis de Epigrafía Íbera, 'Anejos de Veleia' nº 22, Euskalherriko Unibersitatua, Vitoria-Gasteiz; 396 pp.
In this book to the original text of my doctoral thesis
(writen in 1996) with minor addenda, I've added a fifth chapter written in 2003 (48 pp),
I've completely rewritten the third chapter in which the chrono-palaeographic method is
updated and extended with more signs (102 pp.).
See its index in Acrobat format.
(1995) Breve manual de epigrafía ibérica , Societat Catalana d'Arqueologia, Barcelona; 81 pp.
Written in 1994 this book should have been only a hand-out for a course on Iberian Epigraphy, but it was conceived as an independent short manual, with explanatory texts and some exercices. Intended as a short introduction to the state of the art book, the only own's ideas exposed in it are those from my minor thesis Análisis de Epigrafía Sudlusitana, (1992, 413 pp.). Outdated in many aspects.1.
I really do not understand the distribution policy of this journal. If you can't
find it, I suggest to try to contact the bookshop Arqueocat (its printer; http://www.arqueocat.com), or directly
the Fundación Privada Catalana per a l'Arqueologia Ibèrica (Avinguda Diagonal 550, principal 2ª; Barcelona E-08021, Spain).
