In Japan, children learn the hilagana ひらがな letters first, and the katakana かたかな letters later. This makes sense for them because most of the words they know are written in hiragana.
However, most of the Japanese words you know are usually written in katakana かたかな. Moreover, the katakana are easier to draw. So you should probably learn katakana first. The following lessons explain how to draw the katakana letters.
First, you need the materials for learning katakana かたかな.
There are 46 letters in katakana, I have explained above how to draw 12 of them. If anybody is really following these lessons, please drop me a note to let me know, and I'll continue working on this page.
