There are two kinds of mannga まんが : manga for children and manga for grown-ups. In other words,"manga for beginners in reading Japanese" and "manga for people who have already read a lot of Japanese".
In manga for children, difficult letters have smaller letters riding on them:
In "msnga for advanced readers", such furigana are seldom.
So, avoid "advanced" manga at first.
