1. Overview

Different MT programs that are currently in the market. The document covers only MT programs that can be easily purchased or with information available on the Web or in specialised magazines.

Restrictions & Evaluation

The following list of resources have been created with information from international publications and with information retrieved from the WWW. The minimum requirements to select the programs have been:

Pairs of languages must the same than treated currently or in future plans by Sail-Labs.
Minimum level of quality. As some of the programs cannot be tested, programs with price under 50 € have been excluded.

Overall quality punctuation follows very simple rules: from 1 to 3 stars depending on if it is a simple entry-level software (drafts, poor quality) (*), a software addressed to obtain good results but without professional requirements (**) or a professional solution (***).
